What is included in the 6-day Tanzania camping safari package?

The package usually covers park entry fees, game drives, camping equipment, tents, meals, bottled water, a professional driver-guide, and transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Excluded are international flights, visas, tips, personal expenses, and travel insurance.

You’ll encounter elephants and baobabs in Tarangire, tree-climbing lions and flamingos in Lake Manyara, vast herds and predators in the Serengeti, and high chances of spotting the Big Five inside the Ngorongoro Crater.

Camping is basic but comfortable, with tents, mattresses, and sleeping bags provided. Campsites are inside or near the parks, with shared facilities (toilets and showers). For those seeking more comfort, upgrades to lodge or tented camps are possible.

Expect around 2–3 hours from Arusha to Tarangire, 1–2 hours to Lake Manyara, 5–6 hours to Serengeti, and 4–5 hours from Serengeti to Ngorongoro. Game drives are included daily to maximize your wildlife experience.

The safari is rewarding all year. For the Great Migration, June–October is best. January–March is ideal for the Serengeti calving season. The green season (November–May) offers lush landscapes, fewer crowds, and excellent birdwatching.
